Art & Design Workshops with Middlesex University
Students at La Retraite RC School recently showed off their design and photography skills with a workshop delivered by Art & Design academics from Middlesex. The workshop for year 12 art students began with a simple brief – to design and make a simple prototype pair of sunglasses.
The project was designed to give students the experience of designing, making and photographing a simple object that they have created, as well as experiencing the excitement of working in art & design. The students really engaged in this project and after only 3 hours produced some excellent models which showed their individuality and creativity.

Don’t forget that New Designers starts very soon. It is the perfect place to see art & design graduates from around the country in one place.
New Designers takes place at The Business Design Centre in Islington. Part 1: 29 June - 02 July - shows jewellery, contemporary design crafts, textiles and fashion & costume design. Part 2: 06 July - 09 July - shows furniture, product & spatial design and visual communication.

Clearing 2016: Supporting you and your Students
Results day can be a stressful time for students, especially if things have not gone to plan. Clearing gives students who do not meet the conditions of their university offers the opportunity to apply for places on unfilled courses.
